Welcome, Puck Hogs, to the new site. In our 7th year, we’ve been working hard (well, mostly Jimmy on the site dev, me making lists, and Scott drinking beer) this summer to get this new site up to speed. We still have a way to go but will get there. Jimmy will get you all the info you need to get logged in and post your avatar. If you have any questions, shoot him an email (see the “Contact Us” link).
I WILL NOT BE EMAILING YOU ANYMORE. YOU MUST CHECK THE MESSAGE BOARD PERIODICALLY FOR DETAILS ON THE LEAGUE. THE WHOLE POINT OF THIS IS TO BE AN ONLINE COMMUNITY THAT MATERIALIZES ONCE OR TWICE A YEAR INTO A DRUNKEN WEEKEND IN PERSON.
1. What we need to immediately do is. We will do this for you if you do not do so and it might be ugly:
2. MONEY MONEY MONEY: I need it. I will post a separate thread with the balances due as some people left in last year.
3. Sign up in Yahoo. Do it, see the other post on this message board with the league name
4. Rules: I’ll be posting the updated supplemental rules sheet soon. No major changes though there are some tweaks we are still working on.
5. Draft: Two weeks! See the yahoo league for details on that.
6. New Recruits: if you are new and have any questions about the league, let me know.
-Adrian (Commish and list-maker in chief)

§ Team 1 begins the first round (totals at the end of regular season) with 20,000 points and ends the first round (totals after last day of playoffs) with 20, 850 points. Team 1’s true Playoff Round 1 total is 850 points
§ Team 8 begins the first round (totals at the end of regular season) with 18,000 points and ends the first round (totals after last day of playoffs) with 18, 800 points. Team 1’s true Playoff Round 1 total is 800 points

§ Drop/Adds: All drop/add rules will continue to apply during playoffs
§ Trades: Trading deadline will have passed so there will be no trades during playoffs
§ Commish will lock out all drop/add ability for all teams eliminated from playoffs. The only playoff losers allowed to continue drop/adds are those competing for the #3 position during the finals week. This rule is to prevent eliminated teams from affecting contending teams via drop/adds. All teams may drop/add throughout the playoffs subject to their drop/add limit as managed by yahoo.
§ If the margin of victory is greater than 100 points, the current winner shall be declared permanent and all playoff rules shall be followed.
§ If the margin is less than 100 points, both teams shall be allowed to continue playing in the playoffs subject to normal playoff rules until confirmation of stats on the following week’s cycle,
§ Upon confirmation of stats during yahoo’s next cycle, the winner of the previous round shall be the team competing in the following round just completed.
